In this role you will be transporting goods from the retail lumberyard to the customers location. Position Expectations: Assisting customers with their purchases in our lumberyards and at their place of delivery. Inspecting all orders before they are sent out to make sure they are correct. Unloading building materials that arrive on stock trucks. Load building materials by using knowledge of products, inventory, and materials handling to ensure loads are safely built and loaded on trucks. Maintaining a clean and organized lumberyard. Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals. Keep accurate records of maintenance logs of vehicle repairs and statuses. Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self, co-workers, or customers. Attend monthly safety meetings as required. Outside Sales Representative Job Summary: As a representative for Western Building Center you will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.  You will also continue to improve and strengthen customer relationships both in person and over the phone.   Duties/Responsibilities: Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.   Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.  Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
