Position Summary: This full-time, all-seasons driving position will give you the opportunity to hone your knowledge of the lumber business while providing our customers with the best customer service in the state!  In this role you will be transporting goods from the retail lumberyard to the customers location.   Position Expectations:
  • Assisting customers with their purchases in our lumberyards and at their place of delivery. 
  • Inspecting all orders before they are sent out to make sure they are correct. 
  • Unloading building materials that arrive on stock trucks. 
  • Load building materials by using knowledge of products, inventory, and materials handling to ensure loads are safely built and loaded on trucks.  
  • Maintaining a clean and organized lumberyard.  
  • Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals. 
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance logs of vehicle repairs and statuses.  
  • Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self, co-workers, or customers.  
  • Attend monthly safety meetings as required.  
  • Safely operating heavy equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Western Building Center:  Electrical Sales Associate   Position Summary:  Western Building Center is looking for an outgoing sales associate with electrical experience.  In this position, you will be helping customers who come into the store looking for help in our electrical department.   Helping to answer their questions about their shopping needs and making sure they have everything they need for their project.  In this role, you will need good communication skills and computer experience.     Position Expectations: 
  • Excellent customer service is given to anyone in the store.  
  • Cross-selling and upselling products.
  • Processing transactions:  Using a point-of-sales system to scan products, process payments, and issue receipts. 
  • Store maintenance:  Keeping the aisles clean and tidy, dusting shelves, facing products, and restocking shelves.
