Corporate Distribution Yard, Columbia Falls

Diesel Mechanic   Western Building Center Corporate Yard Western Building Center is looking for an experienced mechanic Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel, gas and propane powered vehicles and equipment. This role ensures all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.  They will be responsible for repairs and maintenance projects being completed in a timely manner as well up to all industry standards.     Position Responsibilities:
  • Instructs, directs and supervises the activities of workshop employees. 
  • Identifying mechanical issues in a variety of equipment, including engines, brakes, and electrical systems 
  • Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and cared for
  • Perform tire pressure checks and rotations and inflate as needed
  • Install new batteries, wiper blades, and air filters
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and installations
  • Assisting in body work projects such as paint, sandblasting, detailing, and light body work
  • Fabricating, rebuilding, and strengthening equipment parts using welding equipment
  • Keeping records of work activities, repairs, and maintenance
  • Planning and assigning work, and reprioritizing assignments as needed

  Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components

Western Building Center:  Paint Sales Associate / Maintenance Position:   Customer Service Representative / Cashier Shift:  Day Shift, including Saturdays, All Seasons Western Building Center in Whitefish is seeking an outgoing person who takes pride in excellent customer service. This full-time cashier/customer service position will give you the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced retail environment, including assisting customers in our paint department. A successful applicant will be able to hone their knowledge of all aspects of building materials sales, from customer service and sales to administration and logistics. Training is provided, but some computer experience is necessary. Experience in the lumber and building materials industry is recommended. Responsibilities
