Western Building Center in Columbia Falls  is seeking an outgoing person who takes pride in excellent customer service. This full-time customer service position will give you the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced retail environment.  A successful applicant will be able to hone their knowledge of all aspects of building materials sales, from customer service and sales to administration and logistics. Training is provided, but some computer experience is necessary. Experience in the lumber and building materials industry is preferred.    

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Ensure that WBC customers and clients have the best possible retail experience
  • Fulfill sales goals as directed by the store manager
  • Maintain clean and organized appearance of the retail facility
  • Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.
  • Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attend periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned

COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of company products sufficient to determine appropriate applications
  • Previous electrical experience
  • Good customer service and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to read customer orders and follow safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems

Western Building Center in Evergreen  is seeking an outgoing person who takes pride in accuracy and excellent customer service. This full-time lumberyard assistant/delivery driver position will give you the opportunity to hone your knowledge of the lumber business while providing our customers with the best customer service in the state!  A clean driving record is a must. Applicants should be able to lift 80 pounds.

PURPOSE

Perform duties pertaining to lumberyard maintenance and customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and organize inventory in lumberyard and associated warehouse
  • Assist customers with loading building materials in all weather conditions
  • Unload freight from vendors and distributors
  • Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals
  • Maintain logs of equipment repair status
  • Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Western Building Center in Stevensville is seeking an outgoing person who takes pride in accuracy and excellent customer service. This full-time, all-seasons driving position will give you the opportunity to hone your knowledge of the lumber business while providing our customers with the best customer service in the state!  Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement required, and a clean driving record is a must. Occasional heavy lifting will be required, so applicants should be able to lift 80 pounds. A drug test will be administered prior to employment. Wage will be dependent on experience.

Transport goods from Western Buildint Center to retail and customer locations.
