PURPOSE
Perform duties pertaining to the manufacture of prefabricated wall-panels, floor and roof trusses.
OVERVIEW
• Starting wage $20.00 per hour

• Must be able to work in indoor/outdoor conditions
• Help in manufacture of trusses and prefabricated wall panels
• Monday to Friday with overtime available
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Able to use hand tools (Tape measure, hammer, etc.)
• Able to lift, bend, carry, squad, walk, stand for 8-12 hrs.
• Must be able to follow all safety related procedures and practices
• GOOD ATTENDANCE and PUNCTUALITY A MUST FOR TEAM ENVIRONMENT

Western Building Center is seeking an outgoing person who takes pride in excellent customer service. This full-time paint specialist position will give you the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced retail environment. Problem solving skills are a must. Applicants must have a working knowledge of paint and coatings, associated sundries, and best practices. Training is provided, but some computer experience is necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that WBC customers and clients have the best possible retail experience
Fulfill sales goals as directed by the store manager
Maintain clean and organized appearance of the retail facility, particularly the paint and sundries department and paint mixing equipment
Maintain inventory of paint/coatings/sundries and comestibles needed for custom paint mixing
Stay up to date on current paint and coating products and trends
Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.
Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attend periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
Other duties may be assigned
COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge of paint and coatings products sufficient to determine appropriate applications
Good customer service and communications skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to read customer orders and follow safety regulation
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
