Location Name: ProX a division of Western Building Center Shift: Day shift, Must be able to work Saturdays - all seasons ProX is seeking an outgoing person who takes pride in excellent customer service. This part-time cashier/customer service position will give you the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced retail environment. A successful applicant will be able to hone their knowledge of all aspects of building materials sales, from customer service and sales to administration and logistics. Training is provided, but some computer experience is necessary. Experience in the lumber and building materials industry is recommended. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensure that WBC customers and clients have the best possible retail experience
- Answer phones, provide customer service over the telephone or route calls appropriately.
- Fulfill sales goals as directed by the store manager
- Maintain clean and organized appearance of the retail facility
- Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.

- Instructs, directs and supervises the activities of workshop employees.
- Identifying mechanical issues in a variety of equipment, including engines, brakes, and electrical systems
- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and cared for
- Perform tire pressure checks and rotations and inflate as needed

Position Overview
Help Desk Technician provides essential technical assistance and support to WBC staff, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems (hardware and software) and our Point of Sale (POS) infrastructure. This role responds to user inquiries in person, over the phone, via email/chat, and through our internal Support Ticketing System.Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee technical issues, providing general helpdesk support for Windows, Chrome OS, printers, and peripherals.
- POS Management & Troubleshooting: Deeply understand, troubleshoot, and support our POS software and related applications.
- Data Administration: Create, update, maintain, and audit product data within the POS system to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Vendor Liaison: Log, track, and escalate technical support cases with third-party software and hardware vendors.
- Documentation & Training: Author and maintain clear internal procedures and technical documentation. Train staff on how to effectively utilize the POS system.
- Operational Flexibility: Perform occasional after-hours system maintenance and travel to remote company locations as required (minimal).
Skills & Qualifications
